Soddies Vs. teepees
Teepees: Teepees were used by Indians. The teepees were made out of animal hides and wooden rods to hold it up. They would have designs so they would know which teepee was theirs. You probably wont find a teepee all alone. They are usually would always have other Indians with them.
Soddies: Soddies were made of big sod blocks instead of materials we use today to make houses. The sod blocks were very thick so it would be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Soddies usually only had families in them, not Indians. Soddies could be more than one story tall. They could be tricky to build, but they were very cheap.
